Reserve Bank of India 1000 Assistant posts announced for 2012 session.

Reserve Bank of India(RBI) has released recruitment announcement of 1000 Assistants in its allover state branches. RBI is the premier institution of banking and is the head of monetary policies of all  the banks as well as the backbone of the Indian economy. Before applying, Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post. Candidates are requested to apply online through Bank’s website. The written exam is likely to be held on 29th April 2012. Let us see the eligibility criteria and other details as of now.

Eligibilty Criteria :

At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.

A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defense service.

Between 18 and 28 years candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/03/1984 and not later than 01/03/1994 as of 01/03/2012.

Online registration:  01.03.2012 to 25.03.2012

Date of Written Test: 29.04.2012

Payment of fees at Bank Branches: 1.03.2012 to 27.03.2012

Payscale:

Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ` 8,860/- per month (i.e. 8,040/-plus two advance increments admissible to graduates only) in the scale of ` 8,040 – 410 – 9270 – 500 – 11,270 –550 – 13,470 – 650 – 15,420 – 720 – 16,140 – 990 – 20,100 (20 years) and other allowances.

Application fee: Rs.385/- (Rupees three hundred eighty five only). No fee is payable by SC/ST/PWD candidates.
