IBPS has announced the results of IBPS CWE CLERK results
2012. More than 40 lakh aspirants registered the exam last year, from which
nearly 35 lakh aspirants have appeared the exam and about 5.31 lakh will be
eligible for going to the next round of eligibility, that is apply for bank
clerk exams. The results have been declared on 29th February 3.00 pm
onwards. Lets go into the details.
It was assumed that at the end of February all the people
will be getting the IBPS CWE clerk 2012 results. And as per reports of the IBPS
Director, it came true as the clerk exams were held in the month of November
and December the clerk exams. As per reports in the 35 lakh aspirants who
appeared for the exam, nearly 5.31 lakh aspirants have passed the exam.
As per IBPS reports 1.21 lakh of the passed candidates
belong to SC/ST category, 1.72 lakh and 2.37lakh candidates belong to General
and OBC candidates respectively. Since over 30 lakh plus candidates have
applied for the exam, successful people scorecard details will be uploaded in
the upcoming week, while after that unsuccessful people score details will be
uploaded.
Mr. Balachandran said that successful candidates will be
sent their scorecards from tomorrow onwards and will continue. Also passed
candidates will be sent tracking number of their scorecard letters via sms and
email which they registered while applying online. It has been reported that
nearly 20000 bank clerical vacancies will be filled up from the 5.31 lakh
candidates.
As the competition will be immense, good rank holders will
obviously get an added advantage. Also, the banks have reported of giving out
vacancy announcements within a month time. So, all the passed candidates will
be sent scorecards and have to apply as per the bank eligibility conditions.
